Why this course works...
This course is more than just a list of stretches for your hamstrings. You've done that already. This course will give you a strategic plan to follow specifically for knee straightening. We will focus on reducing muscle tightness, reducing swelling/pain first and then build from there. Typically, it is not just the back of the knee that needs to be stretched. Stretching & strengthening the hips, ankles, and even the spine can help. We will also use neurological techniques to reduce muscle tension - this is key. Lastly, we will focus on quad muscle activation to maintain that straight knee in walking and standing. It more than just a bunch of exercises to do - it's the planning & specialized techniques that make the difference.
What topics are covered in this course?
Learn why your knee won’t fully straighten and what’s getting in the way. This course teaches you about swelling, muscle tightness/guarding, what muscles to work and scar tissue. Learn why simply forcing the stretch doesn’t work, and how to approach extension the right way.
Extension won’t improve until swelling and guarding are under control. We’ll show you how to quickly reduce inflammation and unlock tight tissues so you can stretch effectively and make real progress.
Follow a guided 3-week plan designed to restore full knee extension. You’ll get step-by-step instruction on how to stretch the knee safely and effectively. This isn’t just about pushing the knee flat—we work the quads, and even the hips, ankles and core to support lasting change.
